WYWIADY Z PREMIERY
Wywiad z magazynem Seventeen:
"When Booboo Stewart came to the Seventeen office, we could help but to instantly love the adorable, soft-spoken 17-year-old. The actor who plays Seth, Jacob's sidekick, in Breaking Dawn spilled movie secrets, talked about dating, and what it's like growing up with three sisters! Check out the interview:
Seventeen: Tell us about Breaking Dawn! Why should fans be excited to see it?
Booboo Stewart: When I was on set in March and April, and I thought it seemed so far away, but now it’s coming out and it’s just crazy! Fans will be really excited because even if you’ve read the books, you’ll still be really surprised about what happens next.
17: Your character Seth has a bigger role in Breaking Dawn, can you tell us about that?
BS: Seth is the peacemaker. He’s a happy, easygoing guy, and he decides to lead the pack with Jacob, and they form their own little pack. The relationship between the two of them is like Donkey and Shrek, as someone else has described it. Donkey wants Shrek to be his best friend, but Shrek so badly doesn’t want that. So that’s like the relationship with Seth and Jacob. Seth just wants to do what Jacob wants to do, and to be there for him.
17: How does Seth support Jacob?
BS: Jacob tries to do everything by himself, but in the end he realizes that you need a support system, and he can’t do everything by himself, and Seth is there to support him. The wolfpack is all about loyalty, and you really get to see what happens when that’s broken. Some of the wolfpack don’t want to protect the Cullens, and some of them do. You see brothers fighting with brothers.
17: Are there a lot of stunts in the film?
BS: Not for me because we turn into wolves. It looks really cool, but yeah, I don’t really get to do the stunts. I think the hardest thing is doing all the different weird noises. We had to do all our lines a lot deeper, and we had to make a lot of wolf-like noises. It was pretty funny.
17: There's a brotherhood dynamic with the wolfpack — do you have any siblings?
BS: I have three sisters!
17: What have your sisters taught you about girls?
BS: I’ve learned that I’ve gotta get to the bathroom first! They are always in there. I tell them, “You can do your makeup in your room,” and they’re like “No, we need the sink!”
17: Are you dating right now?
BS: No, not now. [I'd like to], definitely — who wouldn’t? It’s just very difficult because I do too much traveling. And even when I’m home, I’m never there. I’m working all day and then I come home, watch a movie and go to sleep. My sister has dated my friends though! And then they break up and I wouldn’t be friends with them anymore. It’s horrible. It gets a little awkward.
17: What’s the best love lesson that can be learned from Breaking Dawn?
BS: If someone really loves you, they’ll do the right thing…for you.
17: We're getting close to the end of the Twilight series. Have you taken a keepsake from set to remember the experience by?
BS: No, not really, but the hair person gave me some products. She was like, "You need to do something with your hair, use this!" That’s probably the only thing I took from set.
17: Tell us, did you and Taylor ever do martial arts together on set?
BS: Not on set, no. But I definitely knew of him when I was doing martial arts. We’ve known each other since I was nine years old. Taylor's really good — he’s amazing at what he does.
17: Who would win in an arm wrestling match?
BS: He’d probably beat me — he’s pretty buff!"
Wywiad z The Hitlis Movies Blog:
"You guys have this great subplot about all the internal politicking, and friendships, in the wolf pack; you get to do these great dramatic scenes ... and then you get to be large computer generated wolves. Stewart: Finally someone got it right. Everyone keeps asking us, 'What was the makeup process?'
At the same time, that's kind of a compliment to the movie magic of it all; people think its real. How do you as an actor prepare for that whether its in a voiceover booth or walking around a rainforest in not much clothing, getting ready to get your werewolf on?
Stewart: I think I prepare for it by running and trying to get warm before the scene, and embarrassment in the ADR room making werewolf noises. Just weird noises that I wouldn't think a wolf would make.
On a more serious note though, this is the first half of a two-part film. It ends on a great cliffhanger. Are you kind of like rubbing your hands going, 'Guys, wait until the next movie?' Is it that you cannot wait to show it to people?
Stewart: Yeah, I'm sure the fans are even more so like, 'Come on. I can't wait.' We know what happens, and if you've read the books, you know what happens, but it's so different when you see it on screen.
Is it a little weird to see the stuff you were doing for your job, blown up sixty-feet high involving that level of craft? Have you seen the film?
Stewart: I haven't seen 'Breaking Dawn' yet, I'm waiting for the premieer on the fourteenth, but I remember when I did see 'Eclipse.' That's the first time I've ever seen my face that big. It was the weirdest thing. I didn't know what to think."

Question: Who ever named you Booboo?
Booboo: My Mom gave me that nickname when I was a baby, so I guess I reminded her of what Booboo would look like (laughs). My real name is Nils Allen Stewart Junior.
Q: How'd you get the part, Booboo?
Booboo: Asked my agend about it. I got a callback. I was literally the last to be seen in the callbacks. I read the lines...
We read the monologue twice. It was just really funny. The casting director and I had a really fun time in the room. People ask if I had to be a wolf...nope!
Q: You have a lot of scenes with Taylor. What was it like working with him?
Booboo: I had a really great time working with him. I've known him since I was 9. But this was our first time really working together. It was really cool and he's such a nice guy. It's been the same, just throwing footballs around. I couldn't throw footballs so I didn't join in.
Taylor's always hanging out on set. I saw Abduction, as for his future, awesome movie. Thought it was really good. He's great at doing action stuff.
Q: What have you learned personally from Seth?
Booboo: I've definetly learned a lot about how easy going he is. He's such a calm guy (Seth), he just doesn't even care if you're a vampire or a shapeshifter in everyday life.
Q: Can you talk about your Native American heritage if you have any? And portraying them in a modern film?
Booboo: I'm a little bit of everything. I just try to be a little bit of everything. I think it's cool. I don't see it as playing a native character. I see it as playing Seth in Twilight.
Q: How do you handle turning into a wolf?
Booboo: I thought, wow, my wolf looks skinny. Looks like he hasn't eaten in 2 month. They've done such a good job portraying us.
Q: So you had fictional body image concerns?
Booboo: Yeah! I get asked if I had any say in the wolfes. If I did my wolf would be black...this monster wolf.. with wings (laughs).
Q: Most memorable fanencounter?
Booboo: Someone walked up to me and told me her son wanted to become an actor after watching me. And I thought, wow, we influence lives.
Q: What was it like playing the younger brother to Julia?
Booboo: It was great, and I don't say that because she's sitting next to me. We could be real life brother and sister.
Q: On training...
Booboo: If you get tired, you eat an apple. I don't drink coffee, energy drinks or anything. That's what I started doing and it really helps.
